Our Semesters

 

At Musik 7 Studios we go by semesters, making it easier for you to plan for events, vacation, or simply budget for lessons.

Our semesters are as follows:

 

                - Fall semester                September to December

                - Winter semester            January to March

                - Spring semester            April to June

                - Summer semester          July & August

 

 

Ontario Music Curriculum 

 

At Musik 7 Studios our lessons are aligned with and support The Ontario Arts Curriculum grades 1-12.  We customize our lessons to meet your specific learning style and needs.  We embed skill based learning into activities that nurture your critical, creative and analytical thinking skills.  By layering different cognitive processes with several types of knowledge our students are immersed in authentic rich learning tasks.

 

 

MUSIK MIKS (CD Recording Project)

 

The Musik Miks program is a 6-week dynamic recording project in which students learn and apply the skill of composing and arranging within an environment that fosters teamwork, leadership and social skill development.  The culminating activity in this program is to design and then record a CD of songs created and produced by the students themselves.  Students learn first-hand what it is like to be a young recording star.

 

 

MUSIK’S HEAVEN (CD Recording Project)

 

The Musik’s Heaven program is also a 6-week dynamic recording project introduced in 2011.  It is a very similar to the Musik Miks project but is focused on Christian contemporary music.  Students learn and apply the skill of composing and arranging within an environment that fosters teamwork, leadership and social skill development.  The culminating activity in this program is also to design and then record a CD of songs created and produced by the students themselves.
